From Tucson we traveled east through El Paso to Carlsbad Caverns where we spent two days underground.  Then on to Jacksonville Texas to visit Cheyanne's cousin and family.

On our return trip we traveled north to Eufaula to visit Eric's family (still snow on the ground).  Then back across Texas where we had a blowout in Abilene.  We stopped and took pictures at the Toyan ghost town and the windmill rest-stop.

In El Paso, we toured the historic missions along the Socorro Road, the Tigua Indian Reservation, and the real "Boot Hill" (Concordia Cemetery) where Gunslinger John Wesley Hardin rests (with his boots on) along with 40,000 other souls.  Heading further west, in New Mexico, we toured the town of La Mesilla where Billy the Kid was tried and sentenced to hang in 1881.

The red route on the map is our trip to Florida, the green route is our trip home.  Due to a very cold and snowy winter, we followed the southern route.
