RUBBING ELBOWS

Actor Pat Moore

Peter Brosnan and Pat Moore confer on the siteFor the first time in 75 years, Pat Moore revisits the site of the filming. Under the screen name of Terrence Moore, Pat played the part of the Pharaoh's son in the original 1923 Ten Commandments. Documentary film maker Peter Brosnan shows Pat some original 1923 photos of the set and listens as Pat recalls his memories of the production and working with DeMille.

Actor Charlton Heston

Dr. Parker provides Mr. Heston with a project updateAt the December 4th, 1999 grand opening of Grauman's 1922 Egyptian Theatre, Dr. Parker had a chance to meet Mr. Heston and provide him with an update of the archaeological project. Heston, has had a long-time interest in Hollywood history and has already indicated his support for the project.

In addition to updating Mr. Heston, Parker and Brosnan introduced many film industry people to the historic archaeological project and the need for funding to complete the work. With the help of The American Cinematheque they were able to display a few surface artifacts recovered from the site.
